understandable - discord did delay their output of the age verification system, so you'll have a decent amount of time to decide on that - it is always a personal choice for these things. by 2030+ or so we'll likely be flooded with id requirements on much of anything and possibly just to use our operating systems with the way some things are appearing to be going.

in 2030 personal pc's might not even EXIST, everything will be cloud based and you WILL OWN NOTHING and be happy.

This does make my heart sick, I can only hope that there will always be a way for me to use my computer the way I want. I would like to think that there will always be a Linux distribution that will keep that as their core belief. And knowing the Linux community, I have a feeling that will always be the case.
